dream or future?

Had a scary dream last night that it was the end of the world! I remembered that everyone including me was afraid and were running or hiding from something. The thought kept coming to my mind that the end of the world is just around the corner. Thank goodness I woke up from it. hehe.. Well, the dream was probably because of the change of weather because as I slept till like noon.

I missed my computer class today because of commitment. Had to go teach my 3d model class at night which was the same time as my computer class. I somehow can’t help feeling a little guilty and left out for not attending my computer class but well, had to..  And my computer class shouldn’t be at night! Hello?! U know how dangerous it is to travel at night?!

While I was at the art centre, my boss told me that her husband had went to pump petrol because of the rise of petrol price again tmr. He's been caught in the jam because people are actually getting their vehicles filled by tonight at midnight. Later on, my boss told me again that her husband is waiting at the petrol station because the petrol has run out and many are waiting there for the next tank of petrol to arrive. At last he came back but not being able to get any petrol.

Wow.. the craziness that happened really struck me!!! I could feel my goose bumps all over. It really reminded me of my dream, if not I wouldn't have thought about it. This is a reminder to me personally that the end of the world may be coming anytime. God maybe coming to take us all to heaven anytime.

Its sad that all these are happening now. The increasing of petrol and food price, natural disaster and diseases. And have you all notice the change of weather? Well, its getting hotter by the minute! and ice are melting people! help! ok.. lets not get too dramatic...

Does anyone know who John Titor is?

He's the guy from the future! yes, correct, from the future. He set up a blog(or something like that) to start warning people of the thing ahead of us before going back to the future again.

He predicts that Olympics 2004 will the last one. He's trying to say that this year's Olympics won’t happen.  Just wait and see, that will definitely confirm his story whether it’s true or fake.

Go check him up. You can google his name. I read about him once at Wikipedia, it’s all summarized there.

One more thing I heard from my bro about what John Titor said which is isn’t hard to believe is that in (don’t know which year la but not long from now), we’ll all be riding horses and bicycle. Going back to basics! (Anyone heard Christina Aguilera’s back to basics album?)

In an article which was publish in Australia about Malaysia’s government wasting money on taking a taxi ride up to space on a Russian Space shuttle, it mentioned instead of wasting millions of tax payers money to send that fella on that taxi ride up to space to do nothing, the Malaysian government should spent money on solving their future problem which involves its own petrol.

The article also mentioned that in 2011, Malaysia’s oil will run out! Can you believe that?! So what is the government planning to do when the time comes? Hmm… Inventors, think fast!

Food Creativity

I just love peanuts! and chocolate!!! they both go well together.

I've been trying some creative way of putting my snacks together during the hols..

Jacob cream cracker with peanut butter and chocolate chips:

hmm.. its just so delicious!

Have u all tried Tesco's Double chocolate chip cookies? its one of the best chocolate chips cookies with a reasonable price. Look what i've add to it:

1. Peanut butter

2. Peanut butter and Chocolate chips

by putting simple food together it becomes something new.. a new taste.. thats creativity! see how many possible food business ideas i have here already...

Been using so much chocolate chips because it was left overs from making tong yuen with chocolate fillings. Thats another yummy treat eaten with soya bean milk. if u haven tired that before then u should! talking about all these yummy food is just making me hungry.. i'll get my treat later!

By the way i dont usually eat like that everyday! though almost! haha.. you'll be wondering why am i still so thin, well, all the fats just go to my tummy which u cant see! hmm.. wonder why... Have to work on the tummy, but i need to put on weight! but at the right place! So how? no idea!

Talking about food, my college friends and I recently made lasagna, baked and meshed potatoes! Though it was the first time for me making the lasagna but it was edible! haha.. but was too hard because it was too dry, and the cheese was over cooked. Checked out pics at my facebook! It was a fun day making lunch for ourselves and then making chocolate tong yuen for desert, but cleaning up is just a big dread! Well, as the host! I had to make sure the kitchen was sparkling clean before mum comes home! Guess we wont be doin this again anytime soon.. well ... maybe just a desert wont be that dreadful....

Interesting!

haha..  the newspaper
recently reported that a famous coffee store in US has been spiking the (anorexic looking) twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's coffee with full cream milk instead of low fat which they had ordered!

Hehehe! but come on! have you seen how thin they both look! if i were their coffee maker, i'll definitely do that too if i had the chance.. haha they both need some extra fats! sorry! oh.. wait! i sound like Simon Cowell now!

Friendship

a
year ago,
a bunch of people,

forced to live together,
forced to go through difficult times together

friendship were forged,
clicks were forged,

its time to leave,
its time to say good bye,

some never forget the friendship,
some know its hard to hold on to it,

some wonder if they really cared,
some felt they were forced into the friendship,

some accepts the reality,
some still tries to hold on to it,

but as it is like a plant not watered and maintained,
the plant will soon be dead,

as time goes by,
lets see if it really stands the test of time.

Hard work paid off

Its teatalk(results day) again today and kudos to Segi for improving on its event management but there are still many things you could do to make it better.

Managed to be talked rude to (again) by a new lecturer who doesn't know anything. Whats with people nowadays who doesn't know how to behave?! Gosh, i'm speechless towards the way she reacted when i asked her a simple question.. !@#$%^&* You better watch out!

But who cares about you lousy fellas! I got straight As of the 5 subjects that i've taken this sem. I aspect and will be contented with 4 As but God's giving me 5 As.. haha... so Thank you God! You will be the first I thank! Thank you for giving me the talent and strength and as I enter another hopefully not so hectic sem, I know you'll do the same. Amen!

starting new sem next Mon!

Its time to mentally prepare myself and set those high targets again!

Featuring my favourite Christian band > Starfield

Starfield is a Canadian Christian music group from  Winnipeg, Manito.

Genre: Christian Rock, Christian Contemporary Music

Members: Tim Neufeld, Jon Neufeld, Gordie Cochran, David Crisp

Albums:

1. Starfield

2. Beauty In The Broken

3. I Will Go

listen to songs from this album here

some info about the band:

For the record, how did you come up with the name Starfield?

TN: We got it from a Bruce Cockburn song. Bruce, for those who don't know, is an old school Canadian folk star. He's been around since the late 70's. At the time he was kind of flirting with Christianity he wrote the song, "Lord of the Starfields" from which we take our name It was just a cool name for a band and it had some spiritual application as well - the "Starfield" the vast expanse of God's creation.

Interesting Hapenings:

On April 25, 2008, Starfield was performing a concert at the Central Heights Church in Abbotsford, British Columbia, when a lighting scaffold fell over and a portion of the floor collapsed under fans dancing in front of the stage. A number of concertgoers, mostly youth, fell through the floor into the basement. More than 40 people were injured, several seriously, but there were no fatalities. As a result, a concert scheduled April 26 in Burnaby, British Columbia was postponed and a concert scheduled April 28 in Red Deer, Alberta was cancelled. During the event, singer Tim Neufeld asked the crowd to cease dancing. When the floor collapsed, Neufeld threw his microphone aside and jumped down about 10 feet (3.0 m) to help the victims below.

So why I love Starfield?

1. Lead singer voice is just amazingly good, addictive!
2. Great contemporary tunes, not really too edgy rockish kind.
3. Albums are just listenable (which means all songs have tunes to it)
4. Hardly get bored even after much replays

LEDs

Anyone knows where i can get white colour LED lights which looks like these

connecting a LED light isn't that easy. i just blow 2 LED while testing it. Thats because i dint know that i'm suppose to use resistors with them. I remember doin all these in Kemahiran Hidup back in lower secondary, but putting it to practice and doin all these yourself is not easy.

All i wan to do is to connect 3 LED with batteries and i have to think bout all these factors gosh! so mah fan la)

1. How much voltage can a LED withstand
2. How much voltage of battery is required
3. What value of resistors do i need to use if i want to connect the resistors in series with 3 LED? (ohms law)

someone pls help me! any e & e engineers?

who will win?

Archuleta or Cook?

who will take the american idol season 7 title?

David Archuleta

Just at 16(now 17) he went to auditions singing John Mayer's 'waiting on the world to change'. that was the first time i heard him sing and i just knew that he'll go far in the competition, well, at least hoped! despite having voice paralysis before and recovered from it, he managed to make it to the final 2.

Many articles claim that he sings without flaws. hmm... thats to me not true at all. if u listen closely, many times he did made mistakes in the pitches and sometimes takes on notes too high that he couldn't handle.

dont go booing me pls.. he's still my favourite!

who will vote for him?
screaming girls, mothers!, people(thinking he deserves becuz his cute) hmm... like the talentless(voiceless) daniel lee who won malaysian idol 2, deaf or wat u malaysians?!

well, thank goodness archuleta isn't just the face! if not u'll get that unsatisfied feeling if someone with the face wins! singing competition people(idiots)!

David Cook

He rocks! He was really unknown until the top 24 if i remember correctly. But he's been the most consistent of them all! Rocking every week with his rough voice that kind of reminds me of Chris Daughtry but ain't better then him though.. But he has his own distinctive voice, and manages to surprise everyone weekly. But i realized that his voice isn't that clear during life performances, love the roughness of his voice but sorry, i think he should sound clearer!

Though no one will forget that he's a bit arrogant in a way when he answers back at Simon. But since then, he learned his lesson and became the goody rocker since.

my predictions on winner:

Archuleta! (he even has Natasha Bedingfeild's vote for sure!)

*based on the fans screaming weekly at Archuleta, this 'small boy' with big voice will win!

*but if based on talent Cook deserves the title for his obvious courage on taking on the challenges that american idol offers.

we'll just have to see how it goes tmr, but no matter who wins, they both will surely hav their albums out end of this year. cant wait to listen to their albums!

and yes! i hope Syesha would release an album too. She's not the average black girl with big voice, she's one interesting and sexy singer!

Disappointments

Disappointments.............

Aren't life just full of them?

we are too often faced with disappointments again and again....
how do we handle it?
how do we overcome it?
how do we avoid it?

do we aspect it to come from a certain person?
do we avoid the person in order to avoid it?
or do we just sigh at the face of it?

one thing for sure is that i'm used to it!

Teatalk Surprise

Last Saturday, i went to my college with my mum for Tea Talk, to take my sem 2 results. At the exhibition  hall, i was surprised to see that my painting which i did in foundation was up for sale.

hmm... would anyone want to buy such a painting? Its selling for RM50. I wish it could sell.. but that wouldn't be so easy. Maybe some rich parent would buy it to be hung on their kids room wall. Apparently, we will get 70% of the sale price and 30% of it will go to the college. Thats not at all bad, now if only it could sell...

Honestly, this isn't really a good painting.... Dint had much time to do it.. but at least I got good marks for this subject.
